Beautiful 2 BD appartment in Ophelia Hotel, Tulum

A great place to spend a longer time and feel like home! Positive: It’s a lovely apartment, really spacious with everything you need and super comfy beds. The complex is lovely with a pool and gym, a supermarket nearby and loads of small local restaurants and food carts round the corner. The more let’s say ‘sanitised’ and touristy bits are not far, a 10/15 minute walk, and there’s a lovely cenote just 10 mins away. Lots of people have commented about the area/state of the roads in other reviews but it really feels very safe and people are friendly and helpful. The WiFi is really good if you need to work etc. Negative: There can be entire days where you just smell burning plastic because of things going on around the area but that’s not really the fault of the property. Maybe a few more things in the kitchen - only one wine glass and no bottle opener so we had to borrow one from a neighbour! There are power cuts, we had a couple during our stay, but the power tends to come back after an hour or so.

Appartement agréable Positive: L’appartement est très agréable et très propre. L’environnement du Condo est parfait. La présence d’une laverie était un plus pour nous. Negative: Un des accès à l’hôtel est difficilement praticable en s’il a plu. Le jacuzzi n’était pas en état d’utilisation et l’une de nos douches ne fonctionnait pas. Tous les appartements ne bénéficient pas de la piscine privatif, bien lire votre choix. Rien de bien méchant mais tous ces petits détails nuisent au ressenti sur cet hôtel.

Positive: L'appartement très coquet dans une résidence élégante et bien équipée, salle de sport, piscine, laverie. Des serviettes piscine et toilettes douillette. Negative: Nous comptions sur le canapé pour le lit de la 5eme personne de notre famille , le mécanisme ne fonctionnait pas, ni nous, ni le membre du personnel n'a réussi à l'ouvrir. Il manquait de vaisselle, surtout pour 5 personnes, à peine 1 couteau par personne, pas d'egouttour pour la vaisselle, pas de passoire. L'accès par le quartier des bidonvilles avec les routes en très mauvais état n'est pas agréable. Outre l'adresse il faudrait donner le nom des grandes artères pour acceder à la résidence et pour en sortir car des sens uniques. De nuit, on s'est un peu perdu.
